Muuidaegyo Bridge opened after about 4 years and 7 months of construction, which began in 2014.
The bridge was built with a length of 1.6 km and a width of 8–12 m.
With the opening of the Muuidaegyo Bridge connecting Jamjindo Island and Muuido Island, access to Muuido has become much easier.
Previously, the island could only be reached by ferry, but ferry service is no longer available.
Visitors can now cross Muuidaegyo Bridge by public transportation or car to reach Muuido Island.
Muuidaegyo Bridge connects Jamjindo Island and Muuido Island. Beyond that, the bridge plays an important role in linking mainland Incheon with Yongyudo, Jamjindo, Muuido, and Somuuido Islands.
Since the bridge opened, the number of visitors and vehicles traveling to Muuido has increased significantly.
Thanks to Muuidaegyo Bridge, Muuido Island’s beautiful natural surroundings are now easier to reach at any time.
A coastal drive from Masian Beach across the seaside bridge to Muuido also makes a pleasant route.
