"Yeongjong Grand Bridge is a land bridge connecting Yeongjongdo Island, home to Incheon International Airport, the hub airport of East Asia, with Seo-gu on the Incheon mainland. Stretching 4.4 km in total, Yeongjong Grand Bridge has a six-lane road on the upper deck, a four-lane road on the lower deck, plus double-track railway lines. 

The bridge forms part of both the Incheon International Airport Expressway and the Incheon International Airport Railroad.

As the world’s first three-dimensional self-anchored suspension bridge, Yeongjong Grand Bridge carries road and rail traffic at the same time, while allowing 10,000-ton vessels to pass beneath. The structure was also designed to withstand strong winds and earthquakes.

Simply crossing the bridge gives visitors a sweeping view of Incheon’s sea and mud flats. At Yeongjong Bridge Service Area near the entrance to the bridge, visitors can see Fortune Bear, listed in Guinness World Records as the world’s largest steel sculpture."
