Visitor Information
"The village was once called Gueup Ferry Terminal, named after the Chinese character 龜, meaning “turtle,” because its shape was said to resemble a turtle.
Over time, the name changed to the current Gueup Ferry Terminal with the Chinese character 舊, meaning “old.”
Today, it is a tourist destination where visitors can take in beautiful sea views, try a range of local food, and walk along the coastal trail."
