"The dolmen is located at Yeongjong History Museum, 1957-2 Jungsan-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.
Students from the local history club at Incheon High School first discovered the dolmen in 1962 at San 36, Unnam-dong.
Incheon City Museum conducted an excavation survey in 1963. At the time of its discovery in 1962, only the capstone was exposed.
The excavation later identified two supporting stones and nearby stones believed to have served as blocking stones.
Originally, the dolmen stood on a hill 36 m above sea level, west of Seokhwasan Mountain.
It is classified as a table-style dolmen. The capstone runs northeast to southwest, measuring 1.6 m in length, 1.3 m in width, and 0.13 to 0.16 m in thickness.
The two supporting stones measure about 0.93–1.12 m in length. Artifacts recovered from the dark brown humus layer inside included celadon fragments and a ceramic jar from the Goryeo dynasty. Comb-pattern pottery (Jeulmun pottery) fragments were also collected nearby.
Radiocarbon dating of charcoal found near the supporting stones yielded dates of 720±100 BP and 880±110 BP.
These results suggest that the Bronze Age dolmen was reused as a tomb during the Goryeo dynasty.
In 2020, the dolmen in Yeongjong2-dong (formerly Unnam-dong) was moved to the outdoor exhibition area of Yeongjong History Museum, where it is now displayed."
